PRIMARY BEDROOM & WALK-IN CLOSET
The term LOUDquietLOUD was coined to describe the dynamic musical shift that occurs when a song surges from hushed verse to explosive chorus and back again. The sonic formula, pioneered by the Pixies, is a hallmark of 90's grunge and indie rock.
I’m flipping the term and calling my primary bedroom quietLOUDquiet. A foundation of stately classics grounds the space, while a sprinkle of raucous detail provokes. Quiet moments lend elegance to what might otherwise be a cacophony of show-offs fighting for the mic; louder moments create just enough tension to keep things from feeling too well-mannered. The result is a luxurious friction that gives the room life.
